Who is Charles J. (CJ) Dyas?

I'm CJ Dyas, a designer and technical operator working across product design, UX strategy, wayfinding systems, and infrastructure. I care about making complex systems feel clear, usable, and maintainable after they ship.
I'm currently Director of Design and Service at Rove iQ, where I lead product design and technical services across large-format interactive display software, internal tools, support operations, and nationwide device deployments.
How I Work
I work at the intersection of product design, UX, and IT operations, combining design leadership with hands-on technical ownership. I design user-facing products across web, mobile, and large-format interactive displays, while also managing the infrastructure, tooling, and support systems behind them.
My work spans building and maintaining design systems, improving internal tools, and partnering closely with engineering to translate complex technical requirements into clear, usable experiences. On the technical side, I've led support operations, managed helpdesk environments, created training and documentation, and overseen fleets of Windows and Linux-based devices.
Having led both product design and post-deployment technical operations, I bring an end-to-end perspective. I design experiences with full awareness of the systems, constraints, and support realities they need to survive beyond launch.
